Eleanor Vance and the Imperial Guard's Pact
In the outskirts of the imperial city, Eleanor Vance is being hunted down by men from the Eastern Depot. Their target is the Imperial Seal, which has been guarded by the Vance family for generations. However, the loyal Vance family has already been slaughtered by her, leaving only Eleanor Vance. Just as the Duke of the Eastern Depot raises his sword to finish her off, Ethan Vance, the commander of the Imperial Guard, appears before Eleanor Vance. Silas Thorne doesn't take him seriously; as long as he obtains the Imperial Seal, he will be the next emperor. A fight immediately breaks out between the two groups. Fists alone cannot defeat four hands. Just as Ethan Vance is about to receive a fatal blow, Eleanor Vance doesn't hesitate to step forward and cover him, but in the end, both are slaughtered by Silas Thorne.
