I'm Really Enjoying it
In an unexpected turn of events, Jayden and Rey suddenly encountered Grace. Rey, with a quick plan, skillfully took Grace's hand and led her into a nearby door.
Jayden was taken aback but quickly followed Rey's steps and promptly locked the door to the room, which appeared to be a warehouse.
In the dark room, Grace was shocked. Rey promptly removed his scarf as a blindfold for Grace and covered her mouth with his palm to prevent her from screaming. Due to the darkness, Grace couldn't see Rey's face, thus his identity remained hidden.
Confused and anxious, Grace was taken aback that an intruder had come. Especially being caught. Damn. She couldn't move an inch right now.
She was supposed to go to Cakra and Agatha's location to witness Agatha's distress, but it was annoying to suddenly feel like this.
"Damn! I should have taken another route!" Grace regretted inwardly.
With a pounding heart due to emotions, Jayden tried to control the increasingly tense situation. He felt responsible for saving Agatha and protecting Grace from giving away information that could jeopardize their rescue efforts. If he didn't keep Grace captive, she could be captured by the men from before.
Rey then whispered, informing Grace that they were not part of the group of men who kidnapped Agatha.
He explained that they were trying to save Agatha, and Grace was expected to cooperate to prevent anyone from getting hurt.
However, Rey didn't know that Grace strongly disliked Agatha. Grace intentionally chose to pretend to be nervous and unwilling to listen.
In the darkness of the warehouse room, the tension increased. Jayden and Rey hoped their actions could help unveil Agatha's whereabouts and protect them from potential threats.
Realizing Grace's hatred towards Agatha, Jayden began his interrogation.
He inquired about Grace's involvement in Cakra's kidnapping scheme, trying to find out how and why Grace ended up in that place.
Grace felt trapped, pausing for a moment before giving a trembling answer. No. Actually, she was just pretending to be nervous. And when they let their guard down, she would plan to escape.
Rey felt there was no need to gag Grace anymore, releasing his hand covering her mouth. However, Grace's eyes remained blindfolded by a piece of his scarf, ensuring Rey and Jayden's identities remained concealed.
With a tense expression, Grace began her explanation. She admitted that Cakra offered her a deal that was hard to refuse, which was why she was involved in the kidnapping scheme.
Jayden and Rey listened carefully, looking for clues that could help them uncover more about Agatha's whereabouts.
Meanwhile, the tension in the warehouse room grew. Jayden prepared for the next step.
He wanted to ensure that the information obtained from Grace would help them find Agatha and confront Cakra and other parties involved in this case.
"Grace, you better start talking now. I know Cakra involved you in this," Jayden began.
"What do you think you can do? I know you're Jayden. I won't tell you anything. This is not your business!" Grace asserted firmly.
Jayden gritted his teeth. "Agatha's well-being is my business too, and I won't let her continue to suffer. So, spill everything now, Grace."
Grace grunted in frustration, refusing to answer truthfully. "Cakra offered me an offer I couldn't refuse. He has something that could ruin my reputation if I don't comply."
Jayden chuckled sarcastically. "Your reputation? You want to ruin Agatha's life just for your reputation?"
"I didn't know it would get this bad, but Cakra threatened to reveal some of our family secrets!" Grace lied again.
Jayden looked at her cynically. "So, to protect your family secrets, you're willing to destroy Agatha's life, right?"
"I know this is wrong, but I'm already involved!" Grace snapped.
Rey chimed in. "So, where is Agatha now? And where is Cakra?"
Grace grunted. "I don't know his plans! So I don't know where Agatha is taken because I only helped in the beginning!"
Jayden sighed. "Don't lie."
"I'm not lying!" Grace insisted.
Jayden pushed Grace's forehead with a bit of force. "I know you hate Agatha, but at a time like this, you're truly heartless! How can you cooperate in kidnapping a fellow woman? Tell me the truth!"
"I've been honest! I really don't know! I just followed Cakra's orders, but he didn't let me know where Agatha was taken!" Grace didn't want Agatha to be saved by Jayden, she resented her.
The conversation brought tension among them, and Jayden prepared to take the next step to rescue Agatha and make Grace confess everything and reveal Agatha's whereabouts.
Jayden clenched his fists, frustrated by Grace's determination to lie. He knew the malicious intent in her heart.
As he was about to speak again, Rey held his arm with a touch. Jayden turned, then Rey signaled that he would handle this.
"Do you want to be arrested by the police? They're on their way here."
"What? You said the police? No! I don't want to go to jail!" Grace yelled instantly, struggling.
Rey smiled and cupped Grace's cheeks. "Tell the truth, or do you want to go to prison with Cakra?"
Grace recoiled. Jayden was stunned but then smiled. Apparently, Rey was reliable in situations like this. He stood beside his secretary, chest uplifted, looking at Grace, who fell silent and stopped resisting.
"I've been kind. If you still refuse to speak the truth, we can find out ourselves with the police," Rey said. He released his grip on Grace's cheeks.
"Actually, just so you know, our interrogation is also aimed at saving you. Do you really want to tarnish your family's reputation because of this incident?" Rey continued to persuade with a calm yet icy tone, sounding like a threat.
"As for Cakra. His family can handle it well. Plus, he's a man, it's easier to teach him a lesson. But if it's a woman like you? What will happen to your future?"
Grace widened her eyes beneath the blindfold. She instantly shook her head firmly. "No! I don't want to! I want my future to remain perfect! Please don't make me go to jail!"
Jayden smiled satisfactorily, and Rey chuckled playfully. "So, where is Agatha?"
Grace tightened her jaw, then took a deep breath. She had no hope of lying anymore. "On the second-floor room. Just look for the room with the lights on."

"No need to rush, Agatha. Just think carefully about your answer so you won't make a wrong choice. I'll be happy to wait for you no matter how long it takes."
Agatha's jaw had been clenched since earlier. She felt like vomiting in front of Cakra because of seeing his face that kept smiling as if watching a very funny show.
"Don't make that expression, Agatha. You become even more adorable," Cakra said with a gleeful smile, observing Agatha's annoyed face.
"But it's okay if you really want to show it to me. I really enjoy it. Because everything you do always looks adorable," Cakra praised.
Agatha grunted loudly. She felt like hitting Cakra's head if her hands weren't tied. Seeing Cakra laughing made Agatha sigh deeply and control her emotions.
"Right, I have to stay calm to think of a way to escape from here," Agatha thought to herself, trying to calm herself down. She remained silent as Cakra continued to stare at her and occasionally touched her face.
